Message from the President

Failte!
Welcome you to the website of The Irish Chamber of Commerce (Singapore). From modest beginnings as the Irish Business Association in 1990s, the Irish Chamber has developed into a valuable business network of professionals and companies in Singapore dedicated to strengthening business connections between Singapore and Ireland. The Irish business community in Singapore has never been stronger. Our foundation sponsors include Diageo … Kerry Group, the global food ingredients company, and University College Dublin School of Business which is dedicated to growing its already established links in Singapore.  Our members include executives with Asian regional responsibilities at multi-national and Irish companies as well as dynamic, start-up companies. From technology, engineering and ‘food pharma’ to real estate, finance and law, our Chamber membership is drawn from across the Irish community and the many in Singapore who have connections with Ireland.

In 2016 we hosted a real estate investment forum, a construction industry health and safety event, fascinating talks in the Engaging Entrepreneur series, a visit to the VISA Innovation Centre, a Women in Business career diversification seminar, a Brexit breakfast, a roundtable with the Irish Ministry of Finance and many business and social networking events.  We also conducted a first of a kind survey on the attitudes of Irish families to sending their children to Irish universities.

You are welcome to join us and contribute.
The Chamber is always open to new members and I look forward to welcoming you.

Conor McCoole,

President 2017 Irish Chamber of Commerce (Singapore)
