Brendan Hannigan

Brendan is a Singapore based corporate partner with global law firm, Allen & Overy. His practice concentrates on cross border M&A transactions across the South East Asian region. He advises on a wide range of commercial and corporate finance matters and acts for a range of clients including large listed multinational corporations, family owned companies and financial sponsors. He is qualified to advise on the laws of Ireland, England & Wales and New York and prior to relocating to Singapore in 2010, was based in London for several years, working with Allen & Overy in advising clients on a range of multi-jurisdictional transactions in the US, Europe and a number of emerging markets. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Brendan enjoyed brief stints with the Department of Foreign Affairs, being based in the Irish Embassy in London for a period of time and also worked as a political journalist with the BBC, again, based in London.
