The Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore was founded in 2010 as the successor to the Irish Business Association founded in 1992.
The Chamber provides access to a powerful network of relevant leaders and companies in Asia and Ireland for mutual commercial benefit. We facilitate formal and informal events and contacts that help members to be effective in their professional roles through key business benefits;
We contribute to an improved understanding of issues relevant to the development of business between Ireland and Singapore, by monitoring economic, political, business and legal issues
We provide a robust calendar of formal and informal networking activities that bring members together, provide access to distinguished speakers from the Singapore and Irish public and private sectors, and create an environment of ideas and sharing.

I am delighted to serve as Patron of the Irish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore which encapsulates two crucial aspects of the relationship between the Emerald Isle and the Little Red Dot: namely Our People and Our Prosperity.
Ireland and Singapore are both societies which look out to the world beyond our shores and our prosperity is based on a long standing investment in our people and an open globalised approach to trade and investment. These similar traits make us natural partners, whether as importers of each other's products and services, or sites of regional expansion for indigenous or multinational companies. Each member of the Chamber - personal or corporate - is part of that and I know in the years ahead the numbers of members and business connections will only increase.
People are at the heart of what we do as an Embassy. The Chamber - in particular through its networking events - plays an important role in building and sustaining connections between our diaspora (the active and diverse Irish community here in Singapore) and our affinity diaspora (Singaporeans and others based here who have links to or an affinity for Ireland) and I look forward to working to strengthen those.
