We're delighted to welcome Dr. John O'Shea to the second event in our Engaging Entrepreneur series. Dr. O'Shea is the co-founder of Suu Balm, a medical brand that launched successfully in Singapore in April 2015, has since expanded overseas launching in Ireland earlier this year and will launch in Vietnam, the Philippines and China in coming months. John O'Shea is an Irish doctor turned entrepreneur; having initially worked in surgery and general practice in Ireland, he turned to explore the business side of medicine by way of an MBA at INSEAD in France and Singapore. After his MBA he worked in strategy consulting for pharmaceutical companies, initially in the US (Boston) before moving to Singapore 5 years ago, where he continued working in consulting, eventually teaming up with a seasoned pharma executive partner at Good Pharma Consulting (GPC). Not being content with just talking about strategy, and with a hunger for creating a business, John, along with his business partner at GPC, teamed up with a local Singaporean doctor to launch a consumer health product in 2015 - Suu Balm, the first sensitive skin moisturiser that relieves itch fast. Suu Balm is now stocked in Watsons throughout Singapore and is available online at www.suubalm.com Dr. O'Shea will discuss setting up a business in Singapore, lessons learned, and the ups and downs of taking the company global. He will also discuss his move from the medical sector to the world of business and how he is faring thus far. The evening will be introduced and moderated by Mr. Conor McCoole, President, Irish Chamber of Commerce (Singapore).

This is a free event for members, with a nominal $15 fee for non-members (payable on the evening or online).
